Privacy Policy

Grilling is a product of Zennovation AI Labs Pvt Ltd. We run the Virtual AI Engineer Internship Program and are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We handle it in line with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

• Profile details, given at registration: name, email, mobile number, college, course, year of study and GitHub username.
• Program data: your assigned project, progress updates, final submission (repository link, demo and declaration), review scores and feedback, and any certificate issued to you.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Cashfree. We store only order details such as order ID, amount and status, and we do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Consent records: the version of these policies you accepted and when.
• Technical information: sign-in identifiers and basic error and performance logs, used to keep the platform secure and working.

We use your information only for the following purposes. By registering and accepting these policies at checkout, you consent to this use. You can withdraw consent by writing to us, but then we may not be able to continue the program for you.

• To run the internship: sign you in, assign and review your project, and issue certificates.
• To send emails about your enrolment: offer letter, payment receipt, deadline reminders and your result.
• To send occasional program updates and offers. Every such email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop emails about your enrolment.
• To prevent fraud and misuse of the program, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

Each certificate has a public verification page. Anyone who has the certificate ID or QR code can see the details recorded for it, such as your name, project, dates, grade and status. Offer letters have a similar page showing your name, program, project and dates.

We use trusted service providers to run the program. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:

• Firebase (sign-in)
• Cashfree (payments)
• Brevo (email)
• Microsoft Azure (hosting, database and file storage)
• GitHub (checking the repositories you submit)

Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Grilling and its users.

• Account data is kept for 3 years after your last activity.
• Uploaded submission files are deleted after 12 months.
• Payment and order records are kept for as long as the law requires.
• A certificate stays verifiable permanently unless it is revoked, so the record needed to verify it is kept.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Uploaded files are stored in private storage and are reachable only through short-lived secure links, and access to personal data is limited to the Grilling team members who need it. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your sign-in details safe.

We use a session cookie for authentication only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

The program is for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data by writing to support@grilling.in from your registered email address. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so, except for what we must keep by law and the record needed to keep an issued certificate verifiable.

If you have a concern about how your information is handled, write to support@grilling.in. We will acknowledge it within 24 hours on business days. You may also approach the relevant authority under applicable Indian law.

Our emails and pages may link to other sites, such as GitHub or Discord. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated policy applies from the “Last updated” date shown above.
